The Hope Process Mentioned in the "Journal of the DMA Nonprofit Federation"

Dino Sgueglia, the founder of "The Hope Proccess" wrote an article that was published in "Journal of the DMA Nonprofit Federation" Volume 13: Issue 2 April 2010. Below is a paragraph from that article "Having A Business Mentality In A Not-For-Profit World." To read the full article you can go here: http://www.nonprofitfederation.org/

"The Hope Process is a non-traditional
fundraising activity that can benefit
any charitable organization by
building a portfolio of recurring
donations for the charity month-aftermonth.
In a time when there is less
and less disposable income, this
type of non-traditional fundraising
gives charities the opportunity to
benefit, and merchants the ability
to give without opening their own
wallets. Stepping outside my comfort
zone and in to the nonprofit space
helped me introduce elements of the
business world to nonprofits. In the
end, we have been able to assist other
charities as well. My parting advice
to all would be to step outside of your
comfort zone in fundraising because
you never know who or what will give
you the next great idea!"
